You'll be required to complete 114 hours of driver training to qualify to earn your CDL with Passenger Endorsement. Generally this takes 4 weeks to complete.

To qualify for our CDL training program you need to have or be able to obtain a DOT medical card (we will help you get it), have a minimum of 6 months of professional driving experience, and be able to work full-time on a Monday through Friday split shift schedule. Drivers must be 21 years of age or older, have an acceptable motor vehicle record, and pass a pre-employment DOT drug test.

You will need an approved document that shows proof of citizenship, permit residency or non-domicile document in order to obtain your CDL permit.
If you already have a CDL, but no Passenger Endorsement you will only need to pass the Passenger Endorsement permit test.
If you do not have a CDL you will need to pass the CDL Class B General Knowledge permit test, Airbrakes permit test and Passenger Endorsement permit test.

There is a one year driving commitment for all drivers who complete TransWest CDL training. Team members graduating from TransWest employer-sponsored training program will be required to sign a one year driving agreement.

Yes, we do offer paid training for CDL drivers without a passenger endorsement.
Current CDL drivers without a passenger endorsement will need to complete 114 hours of training to qualify for a passenger endorsement on your CDL. Training wages for CDL drivers without a passenger endorsement is $21 hourly.
