Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging.

At TransWest, we pride ourselves on building a diverse workforce and collaborative spaces where people of different lived experiences, backgrounds, abilities, and identities can thrive. Everyone at TransWest emphasizes and practices our core values every day that are based on continued growth, reliability, safety, caring for our work, clients, and each other.

From the beginning, our goal has been to create and maintain, at all levels of our organization, a company that from a diversity standpoint closely represents the communities we serve. We do this by providing clear transparency into things like pay and career advancement. Today, nearly all of our operational leadership have been promoted from within. We are proud to have a team member base that is much more diverse than the communities we operate in.

Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is an evolving area where we will continue to listen and learn from our team members, business partners, community partners, and thought leaders to optimize our impact.

Our Approach

Our recruitment team works at maximizing reach to diverse populations that can build a career at TransWest. We partner with community organizations to reach persons from spaces dedicated to different racial groups, English as a second language learners, Veterans, those in transitional housing, those without technology access, and more.

We pride ourselves on discovering talented candidates from different backgrounds and lived experiences that work together towards the equal opportunity to realize their ambitions. We continually offer opportunities for team members to build their career; from earning bonuses to performance awards and upward mobility tracks to jump into leadership positions.

Benefits from Day One

All team members are eligible for benefits starting on their first day including Paid Time Off (PTO) that can be used for sick leave, paid leave, vacation, or wellness. Team members also have access to easy-to-enroll benefits including medical, dental, and vision plans as well as our matching 401(k) plan to support long-term savings.

*Part-time is defined as a person who works 20 hours minimum a week.

Going the Extra Mile
